What is the purpose of the Awards program?
The Mission of the Partnership for Community Design Awards Program is to provide a forum for recognizing
outstanding public and private design and planning efforts that impacts our community, and create dialog
about good design and planning.
What category should I submit under?
There are four Award categories and you will need to identify Design, Planning, Partnership or our new category Recognizing
Green for your submittal.
The partnership category is intended to recognize the quality of the design or planning project, but gives special
attention to the make-up of the submittals’ partnerships. Past winners have recognized a broad range of both public and
private partnerships that have come together to make the project a success for both the users and the surrounding community.

valuable partnerships, but under the design category, the applicant believes that the final designed and built product best
represents the overall team’s effort and public benefit.
